"CEPT" AND ITS ATTRIBUTES

IN Australia in 1983, fame was still relatively democratic. That year, one of the most popular TV shows in the country  starred a craggy former painter turned comedian. In the same 12 months a locally made movie called BMX Bandits made a star of a gangly young girl with frizzy ginger curls, freckles and crooked teeth. The Paul Hogan and Nicole Kidman of that time  are hardly recognisable as the celebrities they are in the 21st century. But at that moment, there was far less of a cookie-cutter predictability  to Australian fame. Even the opening of a significant landmark in May 1983, the launch of the Sydney Entertainment Centre, played to that. The event featured another unlikely Australian star: the camp, balding maraca-shaker Peter Allen. Just this morning the Spirit of God was talking to me about "PAST GLORIES". And i felt led to share a thought from it. Past glories as wonderful as they appear to be could be very deceptive, most especially when you dwell on them for so long. Its true that you once moved mountains, casted out devils, seen signs and wonders. Its a good testimony , but don't dwell in the past for so long, because it can distort the proper view of the future, and create a form comfortability in stagnancy. As far as our walk and dealings with God is concerned, There is always more that He wants to do and achieve both through you and in you. Don't be tied down by past glories, its time to press for more, its time to build weight in the Glory. Peter(at the mount of transfiguration) said, its good for us to be here, let us make three tabernacles, one for you(referring to Jesus), one for Moses and one for Elijah, in other words, let us remain at this level of glory, he never knew that one day...

I can say this, that the authority you have can either be used to empower GOD for him to bless you, or to empower the devil for him to destroy you. GOD pronounced authority to man ever before he created man. It's time we know our enemy and understand what empowers him to cause havoc even in our lives. I know some would say all I need to know is about GOD, I don’t need to know anything about Satan. But how can we say we have authority over an enemy that we don’t even know?
